Lioness

This is a painting of a photograph I saw on Pixcetera. I especially liked the way her eyes are focused on something, maybe beyond the viewer. There is no malice there, just survival.

Puppy and Mel go to Paris

Puppy and Mel, Jeanvieve's two housemates, are tired of being left home with bowls of dry catfood, while she galavants around the globe having a good ol' time. They have decided to take a trip themselves.

Sammi

Sweet, shy, affectionate and runs at the speed of light. A "rescue cat" indeed. She rescued my sister and her husband! We all love her.

Putter and Nigel

These are two of my daughter Jillanne's cats. Putter, was blind but managed quite well. Nigel loved Putter and this is a rare moment when Putter would let him snuggle with him.

Calvin

Calvin was done last year as a gift for my brother-in-law Glenn and his wife Darla. This little fellow is probably the luckiest dog in the world. In return, he brings them so much happiness!

The paw prints are a result of working on the finished, matted work and dripping black paint on it, and then finding a way to cover the drips. But, I like the way that turned out, and so did they.
